I really enjoy the small town vibe, my big plot of land, and being on the water. My entire family lives up north in Jacksonville. It is only about an hour’s drive but it isn’t fun to do. When my parents passed and all the assets were divided up, I ended up getting a few of their rental properties in Jax. My brother didn’t want the rental properties even though he lived right in the area. I didn’t want to manage rentals or make the drive. I would need to make updates, pay for staging, pictures, closing costs, and the real estate agent fees. No thank you on that part. I was really glad that I was able to stay in my Keystone home and not have to make the trip a bunch during this tough time.
